What is Teeth Whitening?
People often throw the terms “teeth whitening” and “bleaching” around interchangeably. However, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), teeth are “whitened” when they are lightened to match their natural color, and they are “bleached” when they are whitened beyond their natural shade.
If you believe that you need to get your teeth professionally whitened at a dentist’s office to see real results, think again. With BleachBright’s innovative at-home and on-location products and services, you can get the brightest, whitest smile you’ve ever seen, and you can do it in the convenience of your own home if you want to.
Our L.E.D.-accelerated carbamide peroxide trays whiten teeth more efficiently and safely than any other at-home methods available, and they’re just as effective as other, more expensive whitening methods you’ll see in many dentists’ offices.
For quick and effective teeth whitening, there is only one system you need to use — the BleachBright L.E.D. Whitening Kit plus BB-Cool Advanced III. Used worldwide in salons, spas, and dental offices, it is the ultimate combination of speed and results. One 30 minute session is all it takes to whiten your teeth 2-8 shades whiter. Our system features powerful yet gentle technology that whitens your teeth fast with virtually no sensitivity.
Customer Before and After
What is BleachBright?
BleachBright is an in-salon procedure for whitening teeth. BleachBright whitens teeth up to 8 shades in less than ½ an hour, not including preparation time.
How Does BleachBright Work?
The active ingredient in BleachBright is carbamide peroxide. The whitening gel formula is broken down by using the BB-Cool Advanced III whitening light. As the formula breaks down, it penetrates the pores of the enamel to bleach the stain deposits within the dentin clear. This then gives the tooth its white appearance. Although this process does penetrate the tooth enamel, it will not damage it.
How Long Will This Process Last?
Six months to one year is not unusual. At-home maintenance is recommended.
How Often Should I Use the Maintenance Products At Home?
We would recommend it as a daily maintenance. It is best when used twice daily after brushing your teeth.
Is BleachBright Safe?
Research has shown that if the teeth and gums are normal and heathy there are no adverse effects to bleaching one’s teeth. People with tooth decay and with any type of gum disease should avoid this treatment. We recommend that the following whitening candidates consult a medical doctor before use:
– Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers
– Children under the age of 14 years
– People currently being treated by their physician for a serious illness or disorder (e.g. immune compromised disorders and uncontrolled diabetes, etc.)
– People taking any photo-reactive drugs or substances, whether over-the-counter, prescription or homeopathic
Who may Benefit from BleachBright?
Almost everyone will achieve a whiter smile with BleachBright. However, it may not be as effective for some as it is for others. Yellow staining from ageing, tobacco, dark cola, tea, coffee and red wine will achieve the greatest success with this procedure.
Will your Product Whiten my Crown?
BeachBright products will only whiten natural teeth.
How Long After Treatment Can I Eat?
Avoid consuming food and drink for 30 minutes after the session. For the first 24 hours, we recommend avoiding coffee, tea, cola, red wine, berries, or any foods that have the propensity to stain. The best rule of thumb is to not eat or drink anything that will stain a white t-shirt. If coffee is an absolute must then we suggest using a straw and rinsing with water.
What is Recommended for Sensitivity?
Sensitivity during and/or after treatment may occur with some users but will ease. People who have existing sensitivity, recession, exposed dentin, exposed root surfaces, recently cracked teeth, abfactions (microcracks), open cavities, leaking fillings, or other dental conditions that allow penetration of the gel into the tooth are more susceptible to sensitivity.
